My Bio
My username 'fatedquest' comes from a role-playing fiction in which I was one of the authors for. This role-playing fiction was one of the activities that we did on a site called FFUniverse, a tight knit online community that branched out from FFOnline after a particulary abusive flame-war on the forum. I loved the time I spent on the now defunct FFUniverse forum that was filled with philosophical discussion and polite members.
Should I buy a tripod?

I've been thinking for a while whether I should spend on a tripod. I saw this tripod on Amazaon that is going for 24 dollars. It seems to have good review and it has a 3 ways pan/tilt head which I think would be good for composition. However I am questioning the necessity for one. Money is tight as I am paying through college myself and I would have to put in overtime in my job to get this. Right now I am able to take pictures in most situations without much blur as my hands are quite steady for all those years of martial arts training. However I am not able to do some creative things that require longer exposures to draw out the glow in lig
